The Langtang valley was discovered by a Lama following runway Yak, hence the name "Lang" is Yak for Tibetan and "Tang" means to follow Lang tang is a narrow valley that lies just north part of Kathmandu and near of Tibet (china) boarder, sandwiched between main Himalayan range to the northern and a slightly lower range of snow clad peaks to the south. People of Tibetan origin, who practice Buddhism, habituate this high and isolated region. We visit to Langtang valleys offers an opportunity to explore village and monasteries. We pass through a variety of landscapes – alpine meadows, rhododendron forests, and yak pastures as well as to visit glaciers at the head of the valley and views of Mt. Langtang, Mt. Dorjelakpsa 6990m. Mt. Langtang- Lirung 7245m., Mt. Ganesh 7406Mt and more mountains. The people in this area are mostly of Tamang and Tibetan origin, whose culture goes back hundreds of years. The craftsmanship, dress, traditionally built stone households and the beautifully carved wooden porches reflect the solitude and the serenity of the Himalayan scenery.
Gosaikunda Lake: This Gosainkunda Lake lies north part of Kathmandu and offers several trekking destinations. Gosaikunda has holy lakes at 4300m. Thousands of Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims visit the lakes during the festival time in the month of August.
Sundarijal Helambhu is the famous for its outstanding natural beauty, fascinating culture and favourable climates. The region begins at the Lauribinayak La pass and descends to the Melamchi Valley, and is located 72km north east of Kathmandu. The trails are blissfully quiet when compared to the more popular Everest and Annapurna regions. Nevertheless, it is on equal standing with these regions in terms of breathtaking scenery and the richness of Nepali culture and people.
The Sundarijal Cultural trail takes us through the National Park of Shivapuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve, which inhabits a paradise of flora, including exotic orchids, and a myriad of wildlife and birds. Then onwards you will trek to villages with spectacular panoramic Massif views such as Rolwaling Range and distant views of peaks in the Everest region. This area is also rich in Buddhist culture. As we travel from village to village, we pass through a variety of landscapes – alpine meadows, rice terraces, rhododendron forests, and yak pastures. This trek is challenging despite the lower and higher elevations that range from 800mt to 4500mt.
